At CRUUZR, we want our customers to enjoy Benidorm knowing that the vehicle they rent is properly maintained and insured.

Our insured rental vehicles are covered by Divina Pastora Seguros Generales, S.A.U. under commercial rental insurance policies covering rental use.

Every CRUUZR vehicle is checked, cleaned and maintained between rentals.

E-Scooter Insurance

Our insured e-scooters are covered under the Alquiler + Daños (Rental + Damage) insurance modality.

• Third-party liability: up to €7,750,000
• Accidental death: €6,000
• Permanent total or partial disability: €6,000
• Medical expense reimbursement: up to €2,000
• Travel assistance
• Theft cover
• Accidental / all-risk damage to the insured vehicle
• Damage claims assistance
• Legal assistance and administrative support
• Reconstructive plastic surgery: up to €1,500
• Hospitalisation following a vehicle accident

Authorised e-scooter drivers must be 16 years of age or older.

E-Bike Insurance

Our insured e-bikes are covered under the Alquiler + Daños (Rental + Damage) insurance modality.

• Third-party liability: up to €300,000 (€150,000 sub-limit per victim)
• Accidental death: €6,000
• Permanent total or partial disability: €6,000
• Medical expense reimbursement: up to €2,000
• Travel assistance
• Theft cover
• Accidental / all-risk damage to the insured vehicle
• Damage claims assistance
• Legal assistance and administrative support
• Reconstructive plastic surgery: up to €1,500

Travel & Roadside Assistance

Insurance includes assistance for insured rental vehicles in Spain. Depending on the circumstances and applicable policy conditions, this can include roadside emergency repair, rescue, transportation of an immobilised rental vehicle and transportation assistance for the insured person.

Certain assistance benefits also treat a puncture or loss of tyre pressure as a breakdown.

Medical Assistance

The applicable policies include reimbursement of medical, pharmaceutical and hospital expenses following a covered accident, subject to the applicable policy limits and conditions.

Additional travel-assistance medical services may also apply under the relevant policy conditions.

Theft Protection

Theft protection is included for insured vehicles, but specific security requirements apply.

Customers must always use the lock provided by CRUUZR and follow the parking and security instructions provided at the start of the rental.

Depending on the applicable policy, theft cover may require the vehicle to be secured through its frame to a fixed object and may be subject to additional location and time restrictions.

Failure to follow applicable security requirements may affect insurance coverage.

Never leave a CRUUZR vehicle unlocked.

Important: Insurance Has Conditions

Insurance does not mean that every accident, loss, theft or damage is automatically covered. Coverage is subject to the conditions, limits, deductibles and exclusions contained in the applicable insurance policy.

Circumstances that may affect or exclude certain coverage include:

• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Intentional damage or illegal acts
• Using the vehicle in races or competitions
• Using the vehicle in areas where its circulation is not legally permitted
• Failure to comply with applicable security or locking requirements
• Use by a person who does not meet the applicable requirements

Customers remain responsible for complying with Spanish traffic regulations, local rules and the CRUUZR Rental Terms & Conditions.

In Case of an Accident, Theft or Breakdown

Contact CRUUZR immediately. We will help you determine the appropriate next steps and, where necessary, assist with contacting the insurer or assistance service.

In the event of theft, a police report and supporting documentation may be required for an insurance claim.
